About the position

The IT Field Support Technician will be part of the Infrastructure Delivery team at Red Knight Solutions, focusing on providing hardware support and break-fix services for various client products. This part-time role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Providing customer break fix support for designated equipment
  • Communicating clearly in written and verbal form
  • Possessing excellent customer service skills
  • Accepting and delivering all service calls assigned
  • Completing all administrative tasks associated with each call
  • Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory
  • May provide functional guidance to colleagues

Requirements

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to drive yourself to client locations
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
  • Must own a basic repair tool kit
