About the position

The IT Field Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for various IT systems and software. This role requires specialized experience in Active Directory, Windows OS, and SCCM, along with strong customer service skills to assist users effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for IT systems and software.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, Windows OS, and SCCM.
  • Assist users with software troubleshooting and hardware repair.
  • Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve support processes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of specialized experience with Active Directory, Windows OS, SCCM, and ITIL methodologies.
  • 1 year of technical support experience preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with software troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with computer hardware repair.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
