About the position

The IT Field Technician role at Granado Tech LLC involves providing technical support and customer service in various clinical environments. The technician will be responsible for installing and supporting hardware, assisting with software issues, and performing inventory duties. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within a relaxed work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Routinely travel between various sites to support workstations and users.
• Provide professional and efficient customer service in clinical environments with minimal supervision.
• Install and support various types of hardware including Dell computers, HP printers, Apple devices, and Cisco IP phones.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other software packages.
• Assist with technical needs for meetings and presentations.
• Perform inventory duties of hardware and software assets.
• Manage accounts of IT systems and create detailed documentation of work performed.
• Handle non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity with defined objectives.
• Terminate Cat 5e/Cat 6 cable as needed.
• Lift between 50-70 lbs when required.
• Use various types of ladders, including 14 ft A frames.

Requirements

• Valid CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
• Experience with Windows operating systems is required.
• Ability to lift between 50-70 lbs as needed.
• Experience using all types of ladders, including 14 ft A frames.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office and other software packages.
• Technical support experience in clinical environments.
