The IT Field Technician role at Hardy Industries involves providing on-site technical support for various IT and telecom needs. Technicians will engage in a range of tasks from installing operating systems on laptops to running cables and setting up phone lines. Responsibilities

• Install operating systems on laptops.
• Run cables and set up phone lines in buildings.
• Provide technical support for PCs and printers.
• Be available for on-call support 24/7.
• Travel to client locations within an 80-mile radius.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in IT or Telecom, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• One of the following certifications: A+ or Network+.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Basic computer maintenance and networking tools.
• Laptop with Ethernet capability.
• Smartphone with Hotspot capability.
• Must be punctual and professional when dealing with clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Printer experience preferred but not necessary.
