About the position

GTS Technology Solutions is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide exceptional technical support to clients, focusing on hardware and software issues, particularly with Panasonic Toughbooks. The role involves troubleshooting, reimaging, and deploying PCs, as well as providing advanced support for IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Panasonic Toughbooks
• Reimage and deploy PCs to field technicians
• Travel to various sites and assist with troubleshooting IT issues for field technicians
• Provide 3rd level support for the SCCM infrastructure
• Investigate and resolve IT software and hardware issues
• Provide advanced support for IT systems including Windows Server, LAN, TCP/IP, and other networking technologies
• Communicate effectively with users to provide clear instructions and guidance

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT hardware and software support or a related field
• Experience with Active Directory (AD), security patching, and OS internals
• Experience with Panasonic Toughbooks
• Strong experience with software packaging and patch deployment methodologies
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems
• Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire
