About the position

The Associate IT Finance Manager is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and managing the overall IT spend, acting as a liaison between IT and Corporate Finance. This role requires a strong financial analysis background and the ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of IT Financial Management operations, ensuring proper management and reporting of the IT Budget.
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
  • Lead financial planning activities with the IT Leadership Team, providing data-driven analysis for wise investments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the Finance Team.
  • Ensure compliance of all financial tasks and processes with Corporate Finance policies.
  • Engage in in-depth discussions with finance teams on financial accounting policies and apply them to IT processes.
  • Influence IT leaders regarding financial matters.
  • Prepare monthly capital and expense projections, providing variance analysis comparing actual spend vs. budget and forecast.
  • Perform project-based financial analysis and modeling to support capital and operational spending.
  • Assist in business case preparation for financial investments.
  • Support IT Leaders in project authorization for IT Investments funding.
  • Develop processes to track and manage benefits post-project completion.
  • Implement chargeback processes for IT services.
  • Lead the month-end process, ensuring all accruals and reclasses are accurate and timely.
  • Manage and analyze cloud costs to enable spend optimization.
  • Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions across various cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of cloud technology and financial management principles
  • Experience with data analysis and cloud cost management tools.
