About the position

KLA-Tencor Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Functional Business Analyst specializing in SAP to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. This hybrid role is pivotal in enhancing our SAP systems to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, including ABAP, Technical, and Analytics developers, to implement changes across SAP ECC/S4, OneStream, and PriceFX systems. The role requires a solid understanding of SAP customization, configuration, and the ability to conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with end customers. The IT group at KLA plays a crucial role in enabling business growth and productivity by connecting people, processes, and technology. As a SAP ECC/S4 System Analyst, you will be responsible for system configuration in SAP SD and SAP CRM, supporting various projects and improvements. You will also provide a business process engineering perspective during design reviews, focusing on reporting and dashboard requests based on SAP data and other data sources. Your expertise will be essential in leading integration testing, user testing, and identifying gaps in the system. In addition to technical skills, the role demands strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior management. You will document best practices, prepare test plans, and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for project rollouts. Responsibilities

• Work with technical teams to improve SAP systems to meet business requirements.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with end customers.
• Provide a business process engineering perspective during design reviews.
• Own and perform integration testing and lead User Testing.
• Document best known methods and provide support as needed.
• Prepare test plans and training documents for project rollouts.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects.
• Recommend new insights and efficiency opportunities around reporting.
• Coordinate multiple SAP results and related projects independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience as a functional business analyst using SAP.
• Prior experience with SAP Reference Project Object (SPRO).
• Functional skills with SAP ECC and SAP CRM systems.
• Strong analytical and statistical experience.
• Strong BI Reporting experience: MS Excel VBA & Macro programming, MS PowerBI, and Power Query.
• Superb communication skills among peers and senior management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complicated situations.
• Strong presentation skills at the peer and senior leadership level.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with OneStream and PriceFX or similar applications.
• Experience in project roll-out involving preparing test plans and training documents.
