About the position

The IT Hardware Team Lead at Cornerstone Capital Bank is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Hardware IT Support Specialists. This role involves planning, delegating tasks, and driving continuous improvement within the team. The Team Lead will also create and revise workflows, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation to enhance the efficiency of IT support services. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who is technically savvy and possesses strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, and delegate day-to-day operations of the Hardware IT Support Specialists.
  • Implement, create, and revise workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the hardware support team.
  • Daily imaging of Cornerstone Home Lending assets.
  • Corporate onsite setups of hardware for new hires and equipment requests.
  • Review escalated tickets from Service Desk regarding hardware requests and issues.
  • Meet daily with the Hardware team to allocate work as needed.
  • Perform weekly inventory audits of onsite equipment and materials.
  • Test newly released images and updated application packages from Endpoint Engineering.
  • Create new processes and procedures for the IT Hardware Team.
  • Manage 3rd party vendors on hardware quotes and shipments.
  • Train hardware team and technicians on workflow updates.
  • Create Stories for the IT Hardware Team in Agile-led initiatives.
  • Manage and update the Asset Management system.
  • Attend and engage in weekly regional meetings to update technicians on inventory and expectations.
  • Lead bi-weekly inventory meetings to discuss projections and requests.
  • Report weekly to IT Support management regarding the Hardware Team's status.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years working with IT Hardware management.
  • Minimum 5 years working within a Hardware/Service Desk Role.
  • Ability to lead a team of two or more people.
  • Proven record of developing detailed processes.
  • Ability to pioneer continuous improvement of the Hardware Team.
  • Record of delegating work to Hardware Team Members.
  • Ability to support Windows 10.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
