About the position

The IT Help Desk position is focused on providing technical support and resolving complex IT issues to ensure high system availability and customer service across the company. This role involves troubleshooting, application support, and maintaining IT infrastructure, while also ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and resolve complex IT issues.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of technical problems.
  • Assist technicians in solving escalated issues.
  • Provide Service Titan application support.
  • Maintain Active Directory/Group Policy administration.
  • Support customers and technical staff.
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot escalated incidents.
  • Provide onsite, hands-on, and remote technical support in a Windows environment.
  • Troubleshoot and support network wiring.
  • Support mobile workforce devices including Android, Apple, and Windows devices.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Image tablets and desktop PCs.
  • Administer software/hardware updates and upgrades.
  • Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is a priority.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in networking technology preferred.
  • A+ and MCP certifications.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Help Desk and/or PC support environment.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and 11 in a Windows Server 2016 and 2019 environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic networking knowledge including switches, wiring, TCPIP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to remote locations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Service Titan application.
