About the position

The Help Desk Support Level II Technician role at a leading IT Solutions Company in West Miami, FL, focuses on providing technical support and solutions to meet client business needs. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and manage their technology-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales to provide pre- and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account management.
  • Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design Local Area Networks and implement network security measures.
  • Optimize and maintain network software and hardware.
  • Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.
  • Configure and deploy VOIP solutions.
  • Perform network infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Server and telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and take appropriate action as per guidelines.
  • Receive escalated service requests requiring an enhanced response.
  • Facilitate new user onboarding.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working with clients at a business level.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience writing proposals for and implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Ability to problem solve at a high level, with extraordinary customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools.
  • Sales training experience is a plus.
  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA or MCSE certifications.
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications.
