The IT Help Desk Technician at Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. is responsible for providing first and second-tier support to end users, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining service levels aligned with ITIL standards. Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd tier support to end users.
  • Process moves, additions, and changes to the environment.
  • Maintain operating efficiency by working with end users of IS solutions and provide support service aligned to defined service level agreements (SLA) and to ITIL standards.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to branch personnel.
  • Answer and route phone calls effectively.
  • Interact with vendors and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
  • Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Perform any other duties deemed appropriate by management.

Requirements

  • Understanding of networks and equipment connected to it.
  • Pass drug and background screenings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to achieve required vendor certifications.
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
