About the position

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician to join our IT team in Brandon, FL. This full-time position is essential for providing technical support to our staff, ensuring that all IT requests are addressed promptly and effectively. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for responding to various IT requests, focusing on tracking each request to its resolution in a timely manner. This role involves resolving technical issues on both Mac and Windows systems, performing administrative functions in various systems used by Fetch staff, and troubleshooting equipment specific to veterinary medicine. The technician will provide support through multiple channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing computer problems, installing and configuring software and hardware, and maintaining and updating computer systems. The technician will also be responsible for providing training and guidance to users on new technologies, documenting and tracking support requests, and assisting with IT equipment procurement and inventory management. Staying up-to-date on the latest technology trends and collaborating with IT team members on projects and initiatives will also be key components of this role. This position will primarily be based out of the Brandon office, but some travel to other hospitals may be required to provide support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others with their IT needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements
