About the position

As a well-established Tampa Bay based technology management and consulting firm proudly serving our clients for 26 years, we provide a wide range of technology services as well as management and consulting support to meet our customer's needs. Our clients vary from small local companies to large international corporations, but regardless of size, we are dedicated to providing our customers excellent service and highly knowledgeable and skilled resources. We are looking to add to our team and have an immediate opening for a Help Desk Technician and are looking for applicants with exceptional customer relations skills and a strong work ethic. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring that their technology needs are met efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years' experience with a concentration in areas such as customer service, organizational aptitude, and analytical abilities. The role requires effective written and oral communication skills, as well as a self-motivated approach to work. Key responsibilities include basic Windows Server Administration, Windows Desktop OS and Application support, Networking Infrastructure Implementation and Support, Antivirus system administration and Virus Removal, Vendor support coordination, Product/solution research and analysis, Project coordination, and the creation of technical documentation. Candidates must currently reside locally, as no relocation is offered. Compensation is determined based on skills and abilities, and we encourage applicants to provide outlines of their favorite projects along with references.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support.
  • Perform basic Windows Server Administration.
  • Support Windows Desktop OS and applications.
  • Implement and support networking infrastructure.
  • Administer antivirus systems and perform virus removal.
  • Coordinate vendor support as needed.
  • Conduct product and solution research and analysis.
  • Assist in project coordination and management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and focused.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server Administration.
  • Experience with Windows Desktop OS and application support.
  • Familiarity with networking infrastructure implementation and support.
  • Experience with antivirus system administration and virus removal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project coordination.
  • Knowledge of vendor support coordination.
  • Ability to create technical documentation.
