About The Position

Charter Oak Health Center is currently seeking a proactive and customer-oriented IT Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with general IT-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software (Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in information technology or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Assist with general IT-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel
  • Install and configure software and hardware
  • Ensure all IT equipment is properly maintained and updated
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements
