About the position

The Helpdesk Technician at Yakshna Solutions, Inc. (YSI) is responsible for providing second-tier technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving incidents across various enterprise services and applications. This role requires a strong background in help desk support, with a focus on maintaining high levels of technical skill and customer service. The technician will work under general supervision and may escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide help desk support and troubleshoot incidents across multiple Enterprise Services and application teams.
  • Receive, analyze, and resolve all incidents reported by end users.
  • Simulate or recreate user problems to identify and resolve operating difficulties.
  • Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Maintain currency and high level of technical skill in the field of expertise.
  • Escalate complex problems to Senior Level support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in help desk support.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • IAT Level I Certification required.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
  • Secret Clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PC, server, and mainframe applications and hardware.
  • Ability to interact with network services and software systems engineering.
