About the position

The IT Help Desk Technician will support and maintain organizational computer systems, laptops, desktops, and peripherals in the semiconductor industry. This role involves providing technical support to both remote and onsite customers, ensuring effective resolution of issues, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 1 first point of contact support for IT issues.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and take ownership of customer issues.
  • Escalate severe problems or calls exceeding target resolution times to management.
  • Provide Helpdesk, Deskside, and Walkup hardware and software support as needed.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to customer issues.

Requirements

  • 3 years of onsite IT customer service experience supporting remote and onsite customers.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for at least 1 year (preferred).
  • Technical degree preferred (undergraduate or 2-year degree acceptable).

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Experience with VPN.
