About the position

The IT Help Desk Technician will provide escalated support for customers in the Downriver Metro Detroit area, ensuring issue resolution in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role involves working two days remotely and three days in the office, requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mobile support for a range of platforms, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Deliver audiovisual (AV) support, managing devices like projectors, Apple TVs, and televisions.
  • Configure and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Partner with internal teams and external contacts to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Oversee daily ticket management, ensuring timely solutions or appropriate escalation.
  • Identify and drive ongoing improvements to streamline support workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT Support role.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and associated services (such as DNS, SMTP, DHCP) is a plus.
  • Preferred knowledge in Active Directory principles and administration.
  • Foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and the Office suite.
  • Basic knowledge of OneDrive and SharePoint Online.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical tools.
