About the position

The Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing help desk support to client end users, which includes remote diagnosis and repair, system maintenance, and troubleshooting support requests. The role requires both technical skills and exceptional customer service to effectively manage and resolve help desk tickets related to various hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform proper intake, triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution for all help desk tickets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while communicating ticket updates to clients.
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills through learning and training courses.
  • Perform planned system maintenance on client networks and troubleshoot support requests.
  • Support tier I/II issues related to password management, application installation, and active directory management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a help desk, support, or consulting role.
  • Valid CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is desired.
  • Technical skill set in Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 8, 10) and Windows Server (SBS, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016).
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AutoTask, Ninja, and IT Glue.
  • Mac experience appreciated.
