About the position

The Helpdesk Technician role involves providing technical support and assistance in setting up Cisco phones and office workstations. The technician will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the office environment by configuring and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and install Cisco phones, including setting up directory numbers and voicemail using Cisco Unified Call Manager and Cisco Unity Connection.
  • Install, configure, and maintain office workstations, including hardware and software components.
  • Provide front-line support for hardware and software issues, responding to queries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to computer systems, LAN/WAN networks, and other office equipment.
  • Train end-users on the proper use of hardware and software, including new technologies and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of configurations, installations, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Track and manage IT assets, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and up to date.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in IT
  • Ability to work 100% onsite
  • Experience setting up computers, monitors, and work stations.
