About the position

As an On-site IT I&O Services Analyst at JTI, you will play a crucial role in managing the on-site infrastructure and operations at our location in Raleigh, NJ. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of all services dedicated to supporting users on-site and providing the necessary infrastructure for running JTI's business operations. This includes overseeing on-site technical infrastructure maintenance, end-user operational support, and the distribution of IT equipment and network support. You will be tasked with selecting qualified external vendors and suppliers in accordance with JTI's Operating Guidelines, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with J-Sox controls. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering required service levels as measured by objective KPIs and dashboards, following established JTI IT policies and strategic directions. You will also track the on-site IT I&O financial budgets and support your line manager in the timely preparation and submission of financial plans in accordance with JTI's planning cycles. Additionally, you will oversee necessary IT administrative activities related to the location, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with the ON-SITE I&O Cluster Lead and other IT Leads to identify technical infrastructure and end-user computing requirements for market, factory, and leaf business operations. Your role will involve managing the implementation and execution of all required global and local IT infrastructure systems, providing essential end-user computing services in your location. Your ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with the business community and MFO IT teams will be key to understanding user requirements and identifying opportunities for operational excellence and business performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the on-site infrastructure and operations to support users and business operations.
  • Selection of qualified external vendors/suppliers according to JTI's guidelines and controls.
  • Delivery of required service levels as measured by KPIs and dashboards.
  • Tracking of the on-site IT I&O financial budgets.
  • Supporting line manager in preparation and submission of financial plans.
  • Overseeing necessary IT administrative activities related to the location.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with the business community and IT teams.
  • Acting as the primary end-user contact for IT service requests.
  • Ensuring performance of IT technical services meets business requirements.
  • Driving search for potential service improvements and sharing best practices.
  • Ownership of the Onsite IT I&O budget and managing local budget usage.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background.
  • 2-3+ years of IT management experience with over 5 years in IT discipline.
  • Preferred experience in multinational companies, particularly in FMCG industry.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of customer service environment and objectives.
  • High level of communication and negotiation skills, culturally aware.
  • Ability to prioritize specific areas within the region.
  • Strategic insight and knowledge of JTI business processes.
  • People, vendors, and services management skills.
  • Ability to innovate and think outside the box.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Proven project management skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial understanding.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT technology, infrastructure, and business applications.
