About the position

The IT Information Systems Manager is responsible for the operational and technical management of infrastructure and systems within the organization. This role requires a hands-on manager who can lead by example and actively participate in technical tasks. The manager will oversee staff, ensure adherence to system management standards, and maintain continuous availability of infrastructure systems and SaaS applications. The position is full-time and on-site, requiring leadership in IT functions and project management to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and technical management of Infrastructure and Systems.
  • Lead efforts to ensure continuous availability of infrastructure systems and SaaS applications.
  • Establish and ensure adherence to standards of system management, maintenance, and support.
  • Coordinate, plan, and supervise the performance of staff and resources.
  • Influence change/enhancements to business processes, IT policies, and system infrastructure.
  • Manage projects, people, customer expectations, and business priorities.
  • Support and lead IT functions through training, diverse assignments, and coaching.
  • Evaluate and select new systems, run status meetings, and track issues.
  • Partner with business and IT team members to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor performance of project delivery to ensure alignment with approved business cases.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with VMWare
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager (Intune), and Office 365 Administrator.
  • Competency with Active Directory (On-Prem)
  • Experience working with an MDM solution (Apple Business Manager, Google Play, Microsoft Intune or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of Management experience with current hands-on experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • IT Project Management experience including managing project budgets and resource plans.
  • Experience with Non-Windows based Operating Systems such as Linux, CentOS, MacOS, iOS, Android OS.
  • Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control and Red Forest Active Directory.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and Backup Management.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and Information Security best practices.
  • Understanding of SDLC and ITIL process methodologies.
