As an IT Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. This position involves working closely with project implementation teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects according to defined architectures, policies, and standards. You will be responsible for configuring and installing various network devices and services, including LANs, WANs, WLAN, SDWAN, Firewalls, SWGs, and VPNs. Your expertise in Aruba switches and NAC solutions, such as ISE or Aruba ClearPass, will be valuable as we transition to Aruba technologies. In this role, you will provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues that arise during implementation or as needed by the Operations teams. You will work within established ITSM procedures to ensure that all changes made to the network infrastructure are communicated, approved, and successful. Additionally, you will publish knowledge base (KB) articles as necessary to aid in the documentation and resolution of network issues. You will act as a liaison between vendors and other IT personnel to facilitate problem resolution and collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network and security measures. Your responsibilities will also include creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to the network infrastructure, compiling build configurations as part of project implementation, and training Operations teams to ensure smoother operations. Furthermore, you will work with digital manufacturing teams and plant engineers to implement and secure operational technology (OT) environments. Collaborating with IT Security and Cyber Security teams, you will implement Network Access Control (NAC), access control lists (ACLs), firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and intrusion prevention systems to enhance our network security posture.
