About the position

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee the design and construction of IT and low voltage systems for new hospital facilities. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with design and construction standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design process and coordinate with Construction Management Department Project teams and IT for various systems.
  • Provide design reviews of systems/infrastructure needed on the Project, and coordinate comments with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage project IT/LV expenses, select and procure equipment systems, and ensure end-user approval.
  • Manage inspections, testing, and owner training for IT and low voltage systems.
  • Coordinate schedule, delivery, and installations for IT and low voltage systems.
  • Review vendor's submittals for technical compliance and ensure installed work is consistent with approved submittals.
  • Utilize computerized management system applications for documenting progress and maintaining inventory.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports indicating work completed and outstanding work.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in both Design and Field Construction Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working on hospital projects.
  • Knowledge of federal and commercial low voltage construction codes and practices.
  • Ability to review design and construction plans against existing site conditions.
  • Knowledge of local Construction and building codes.
  • Experience in Facilities Management from a Project Coordination and Management perspective.
