About the position

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will oversee large-scale IT infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and time constraints. This role requires expertise in both Scaled Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, as well as experience managing high-stakes projects with external teams. The position is temporary and contract-based, located in Richmond, VA, with a pay range of $70 to $80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage large MultiStream projects valued at $10M or greater.
• Oversee IT infrastructure delivery including networking, vendor management, and site provisioning.
• Coordinate with external teams for project execution.
• Ensure projects align with PMO governance and larger program objectives.
• Utilize both Scaled Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project management.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience managing large IT projects.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience in IT infrastructure delivery (Networking, physical plant, vendor management, site provisioning).
• Experience in both Scaled Agile and Waterfall project management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or Finance/Business.
