About the position

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager at Beacon Hill Staffing Group is responsible for leading and managing various infrastructure projects, including reporting, telecommunications, networking, and refresh initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a client-facing approach to ensure successful project delivery while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and risk assessments.
• Proactively identify roadblocks, gaps, and errors in project execution, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance against established KPIs and deliverables, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as reporting, telecommunications, networking, and refresh initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and telecommunications systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing project management methodologies and tools effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project alignment with business needs.
