About the position

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery for complex projects with significant scope and budget. This role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects while collaborating with key business stakeholders to ensure successful project initiation and completion. The Project Manager will work under minimal supervision, reporting to the Project Delivery Leader within the Technology Services department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery using PMBOK methodologies.
• Provide a complete view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders.
• Engage in project planning activities, including defining the overall scope, creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline, and identifying project dependencies.
• Define project governance outlining roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
• Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and manage expected project outcomes.
• Keep all stakeholders engaged and informed about project progress and outcomes.
• Proactively communicate the project's progress, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies and project management best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in defining project governance and success criteria.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure technologies and services.
