About the position

The IT Laboratory Analyst position at Montefiore Nyack Hospital is a full-time role focused on designing and implementing integration solutions between Epic and other systems. The analyst will engage in the full life cycle of interface development, including requirements gathering, build, testing, go-live, and production support. This role requires strong technical skills and a solid understanding of business processes to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to health system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions between Epic and other systems.
• Engage in the full life cycle of interface development including requirements gathering, build, test, go-live, and production support.
• Review and update EPIC testing/specimen requirements according to testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot applications and system problems reported by operations or users.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent education/experience.
• Three to five years of computer programmer/analyst experience working in healthcare.
• Training and certification with various Integration Engines such as Lyniate (Corepoint), InterSystems, Rhapsody, Iguana, or Mirth Connect are desired.
• Epic certification is preferred.
