About the position

The IT Management Analyst position at General Dynamics Information Technology involves providing advisory support to the IT Division of NSWC Corona. The role focuses on assessing and improving IT processes, managing IT portfolios, and implementing proposals to enhance operational efficiency. The analyst will work closely with the Navy's research and development efforts, ensuring the effectiveness of IT systems that support military operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT management advisory support to the IT Division in support and execution of NSWC Corona Division IT requirements.
• Assess the division's current state and improve current processes by developing new plans.
• Evaluate, manage, and oversee all aspects of an IT portfolio to accomplish improved functionality and efficiency.
• Review industry standards and develop proposals to improve business efficiency and IT operational structure.
• Implement approved proposals in support of NSWC Corona Division, including program execution and sustainment.
• Perform advisory support research, developing plans and proposals, and executing the advised IT capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in IT portfolio management and 5 years of experience in information analysis, or
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7 years of relevant IT portfolio management and 3 years of experience in information analysis, or
• A master's degree in a relevant field with 5 years of relevant IT portfolio management and experience in information analysis.
• Must possess a valid Secret Clearance and be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IT portfolio management certifications.
• Familiarity with Navy's research, development, test, and evaluation processes.
