About the position

The IT Management Specialist role at Belcan Services Group involves supporting IT benchmarking assessments and developing standard operating procedures to enhance the IT benchmarking program. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT benchmarking pre-assessment visit activities, including customer interviews and evaluating responses from questionnaires.
• Provide Benchmarking Assessment visit support by recording comments and feedback during interviews and generating an out-briefing presentation.
• Collect, analyze, and create a final report with observations, recommendations, and alternatives for best practices.
• Track the status of assigned actions for best practices and IT service improvement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver IT benchmarking standard operating procedures, processes, templates, and tools for the process library.

Requirements

• Must possess IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 (V3) certification.
• Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Three years of practical industry, government, or consulting experience in information technology management.
• IT project management experience using various Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge and experience in managing information technology services and strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Project, and the Microsoft Office suite.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP or CSM certifications.
• Previous experience with the DLA or DOD.
