About the position

The IT Manager at Beacon Hill Technologies will lead a technical team focused on ServiceNow service delivery, quality assurance, and DevOps. This role emphasizes day-to-day leadership and management, ensuring the team's success while driving the development and expansion of new product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, particularly in ITSM and ServiceNow, and will be responsible for mentoring team members and overseeing project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team responsible for testing software and service interdependencies in ServiceNow.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the technical team, ensuring successful service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Drive individual and team success in the development and expansion of new product offerings.
  • Implement ITSM products and ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development.

Requirements

  • Strong background in ITSM and ServiceNow development.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading a development team in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience managing risk, defining scopes, and managing timelines.
