About the position

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking an IT Manager with a strong background in ServiceNow development and administration. This role involves overseeing a technical team responsible for software testing and service interdependencies, focusing on maximizing efficiency and scalability within ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience in ITSM products, and a passion for leading and mentoring team members while driving individual and team success in the development and expansion of new product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team focused on ServiceNow service delivery, QA, and DevOps.
• Manage projects and team members to ensure successful delivery of services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Drive individual and team success in the development of new product offerings.
• Test software and service interdependencies to maximize efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Strong background in ITSM and ServiceNow development.
• 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience leading a development team in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience managing risk, defining scopes, managing timelines, and communicating progress and issues.
