About the position

The IT Manager of Digital Applications at Englewood Health plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating technology implementations for digital transformation projects. This position is responsible for managing the application development lifecycle, ensuring successful implementations, and serving as a liaison between IT and key stakeholders. The role requires a strong background in healthcare IT, project management, and the ability to lead diverse teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the selection, planning, development, implementation, and support of technology implementations for digital transformation projects.
• Manage the application development lifecycle for platform-based software implementations.
• Coordinate IT applications and work directly with IT managers and team members to ensure successful implementations.
• Serve as the IT liaison to Digital Transformation leaders and key operational and clinical stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Participate as a standing member of governance groups to manage technology-enablement needs, issues, or escalations.
• Ensure consistency in policies, standards, procedures, and processes across all applications while planning in an integrated environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT, with four (4) years in a healthcare-related field and/or business applications.
• Four (4) years of recent experience working with Epic EMR, preferably Ambulatory and MyChart applications.
• Experience in facilitating and implementing architecture, design, and development efforts for applications.
• General IT planning and implementation background with extensive experience in applications and systems.
• Proficiency with standard digital project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in procuring, designing, implementing, and delivering digital healthcare application tools and technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with AI-based tools and solutions.
• Master's degree in a related field.
