Dynamic and growing retail company is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager, Enterprise Applications! The IT Manager, Enterprise Applications will manage and support Merchandising, sales audit, supply chain, HR and Finance applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that the enterprise applications function effectively and meet the business requirements of various departments. The IT Manager will be responsible for providing both technical and functional support for Retail Merchandising, Warehouse Management, sales audit, finance, HR, and planning applications as needed. In this position, you will be a reliable partner for the Merchandising, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Finance teams in their projects. You will manage the enterprise applications team to deliver business requirements and triage production issues in a timely manner, ensuring that issues are resolved permanently. Keeping management informed on critical issues and resolutions is essential, as is effectively managing communication to the business regarding production issues. You will perform analyses on software application functionality, suggest improvements, and solidify requirements. Attention to detail is critical for error handling, logs, and the audit process for existing and new applications. You will also need a good knowledge of version control and batch processes, as well as the ability to work on critical projects to deliver technical requirements. Managing business users' requirements, vendors, and third parties will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that third parties are held accountable for delivering tasks on time. Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance will be a key aspect of your role. You will manage tickets across multiple business systems environments to ensure continued and synchronized operations, establish the root causes of application errors, and escalate serious concerns to the vendor. Additionally, you will manage SaaS application releases, testing, and go-live with minimal business impact, work with auditors to deliver required information, and manage access reviews for applications. Documenting processes and monitoring application performance will be essential, as will prioritizing multiple open issues and delivering solutions. You will also need to follow best practices for change control of proposed solutions and adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. This position requires processing tickets for APTOS, ORACLE, Great Plains, and other systems, reporting common issues identified from service partners for escalation, and performing other specific duties or assignments as directed by the enterprise applications director and manager.
