About the position

The IT Manager-Software position at Combined Metals of Chicago LLC is responsible for overseeing and supporting various IT systems, including Invex ERP, Teams, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM. The role involves managing a small team of IT staff, ensuring effective IT operations, and aligning IT strategies with business goals. The IT Manager will also lead the creation of a data lake and maintain documentation for IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Invex ERP, Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, O365, and Dynamics CRM systems.
• Lead the creation and management of a data lake integrating multiple legacy data sources.
• Manage a small team of three IT staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the IT Director to align IT strategies with business goals.
• Ensure the effective use of ticket system software, specifically Fresh Service, to manage and resolve IT issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and meet their IT needs.
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure the company's IT infrastructure remains current and efficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Manager.
• Proven experience in creating data lakes from multiple legacy data sources.
• Proficiency in managing Invex ERP, Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, O365, and Dynamics CRM.
• Experience with ticket system software, specifically Fresh Service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a small team and work collaboratively with other departments.
