About the position

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager with a strong background in application development across various IT disciplines to lead our Global Supply Chain - Supply Planning team and its applications. As the IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, development, and support of key Supply Chain Planning applications, including Blue Yonder Demand, Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning, Blue Yonder Luminate Control Tower, Supply Chain Planning Workflow, and DSF Business Object universe. In this role, you will manage the Supply Chain Planning Application portfolio, including end-of-life planning, and will be tasked with planning, coordinating, and monitoring the progress of development projects aligned with business goals. Effective communication with key business and IT leaders is essential, as is the ability to research and evaluate new development standards and tools. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating system upgrades impacting applications, including databases and application/web servers, and compiling and recommending wants/needs for the annual budgeting process while determining staffing and skills requirements. As part of the acquisition and deployment responsibilities, you will lead the development team in implementing and supporting Supply Chain Planning applications, manage daily project work, and provide necessary resources to maximize productivity. Collaborating with support teams to resolve production issues and planning new development efforts will be crucial, as will developing client relationships through communication and engagement on projects. Operational management will involve overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain Planning team and applications, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of new projects and initiatives, mentoring and coaching team members, and working with customers to build and formulate business requirements. You will also be responsible for developing documentation, white papers, and presentations for all levels of management and technical staff, providing daily management and leadership to the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Supply Chain Planning Application portfolio, including end-of-life planning.

  • Work with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
  • Develop documentation, white papers, and presentations for all levels of management and technical staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience in software development life cycle and system integration.
  • 5+ years of successful project leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of Planning application development experience.
  • 5+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
  • 4+ years of leading a team of direct reports.
  • Excellent systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
