About the position

The IT Manager, also known as The Tech Operations Leader, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations within the organization. This role involves managing a talented team of IT professionals, developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives, ensuring the reliability and security of IT infrastructure, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives. The IT Manager plays a crucial role in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and maintaining a secure digital environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, helpdesk support, and systems administrators.
• Work with executive leadership to create an IT roadmap that aligns with business goals.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and software applications.
• Establish and enforce security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, managing budgets, resources, and timelines efficiently.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiating contracts and evaluating solutions.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing IT teams and developing technical talent.
• Ability to create and implement IT strategies and manage projects effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in data protection protocols and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience managing IT budgets and negotiating with vendors.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in IT management or project management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CompTIA IT Management).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
