About the position

The IT Manager at Hive & Colony is responsible for leading the IT department, focusing on maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT systems to support the company's growth in the retail clothing sector. This role aims to enhance digital technology strategies, ensuring the integration of effective systems such as CRM and ERP to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT function, including a team of IT service providers.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through regular monitoring, risk assessments, and implementing necessary security measures.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs, resolve technical issues, and provide technical guidance and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology, and make recommendations for improvements and investments in IT infrastructure.
• Manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Work with select vendors and service providers for IT-related products and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong technical skills in IT hardware and software installation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, systems administration, and security.
• Proven track record of successfully leading IT teams.
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
• Experience in merging existing hardware and software programs with new software platforms.
• Thorough knowledge of enterprise technologies, including SaaS systems and digital strategies.
• Proficiency in evaluating potential technology options.
• Familiarity with SalesForce and Netsuite is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
