About the position

IntouchCX is seeking an IT Operations Manager who will be responsible for implementing and administering global technology activities. This role involves managing, upgrading, and directing the installation, operation, and maintenance of information technology hardware and software. As the IT Operations Manager, you will assume responsibility for assigned IT operation services and activities specific to a site or multiple sites. This includes providing ongoing technical support on-site for information technology hardware such as desktops, laptops, and Chromeboxes, as well as software solutions. In this position, you will maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. You will conduct one-on-one discussions with IT Generalists to develop personal growth opportunities and provide coaching sessions to discuss expectations. Ensuring a safe and secure work environment is paramount, and you will complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with various IT stakeholders and non-IT departments. Your responsibilities will also include performing hardware troubleshooting, which encompasses repairs, upgrades, and configuration of desktops and laptops. You will take ownership of technical issues, collaborating with different stakeholders to resolve technical concerns as necessary. Monitoring, reporting, and documenting system and performance issues will be part of your daily tasks, as well as working collaboratively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders across the company to achieve desired results. Adhering to company policies, core values, and procedures is essential, and you will be expected to work on shifting schedules, being available for a 24/7 operations environment. You will interpret and validate technical issues, test solutions, follow up, and escalate when necessary, while solving complex problems in a technical service-oriented environment. The role requires you to comprehend, capture, and interpret basic information and work within a team in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer global technology activities.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or completion of post-secondary schooling preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of management/project management experience.
  • Experience managing base image and software packaging deployments.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows, IOS/OSX, Android, and system environments.
  • Experience in Microsoft desktop and server platforms and their related software management applications.
  • Detail-oriented team player with creative problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to implement change and innovation.
  • Expertise in installation, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of hardware and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, customer-oriented.
  • Tech-savvy and updated on the latest technology available.
