About the position

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking an IT Manager with expertise in ServiceNow development and administration. This role involves overseeing a technical team responsible for software testing and service interdependencies, focusing on maximizing efficiency and scalability within ServiceNow. The IT Manager will lead a team dedicated to ServiceNow service delivery, quality assurance, and DevOps, while also mentoring team members and driving individual and team success in developing new product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of technical members responsible for testing software and service interdependencies.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the technical team focused on ServiceNow service delivery, QA, and DevOps.
  • Drive individual and team success while expanding new product offerings.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure successful delivery of services by effectively managing projects and team members.

Requirements

  • Strong background in ITSM and ServiceNow development.
  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading a development team in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience managing risk, defining scopes, managing timelines, and communicating progress and issues.
