The IT Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing IT projects from initiation to completion within our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the IT onboarding and offboarding processes for staff, ensuring that new employees are seamlessly integrated into the IT ecosystem while also ensuring that departing employees have their data secured and equipment retrieved. The IT Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to employees on various software and hardware solutions, as well as offering end-user support for laptops and mobile devices. In addition to these responsibilities, the IT Manager will conduct routine security audits to confirm that the latest security measures are in place and maintain thorough documentation related to security protocols. The role also involves generating regular reports on infrastructure-related metrics, such as network performance and security incidents, which will be shared with management and stakeholders. Implementing and enforcing cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systems is a key aspect of this position, including the management of backup systems for critical data. The IT Manager will oversee the administration of various SaaS solutions, including Microsoft 365 and VPN services, ensuring that they operate optimally and securely. This role requires maintaining detailed and up-to-date IT documentation, which includes asset tracking, system configurations, procedures, and user guides. Collaboration with third-party vendors and consultants is essential, as is the ability to monitor and manage service contracts to ensure compliance with agreed-upon service levels. The IT Manager will also work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain new technologies and systems, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of IT advancements.
