About the position

Juncos Hollinger Racing is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Manager to oversee the implementation, operation, and management of IT equipment both in the workshop and trackside. This hands-on role is critical for maintaining seamless communication and efficient business operations, supporting all IT inventory, and fostering a positive environment for knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's key IT systems, introducing improvements as needed.
  • Maintain, optimize, and improve the IT architecture as the company's needs evolve.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT items, ensuring orders are placed in advance.
  • Secure and maintain the ongoing security of all Business Systems including Microsoft 365 Management.
  • Establish and maintain email distribution lists for staff as required.
  • Provide daily assistance to all staff encountering issues with connectivity, access, or hardware.
  • Prepare IT hardware and email domains for New Joiners.
  • Assist employees in ensuring access to shared folders and documentation is backed up routinely.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior leadership to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Set up internet/network requirements at off-site activities including tests and races.
  • Implement wireless networks at the Racetrack and ensure quality of ancillary components.
  • Support the development of IT policies, procedures, and standards for compliance and best practices.
  • Communicate and distribute information to staff on IT issues impacting their work.
  • Maintain documentation for New Joiners and Exiting employees regarding access and hardware.
  • Review server room hardware and propose enhancements for security and stability.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage contract negotiations.
  • Monitor the Department budget and work closely with the Team Manager and Finance department.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in managing O365 environment including implementing security best practices.
  • Minimum two (2) years of hardware evaluation, acquisition, installation, and maintenance experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with technical problem resolution and support including MS OS desktop support.
  • Minimum three (3) years of server support experience including File Servers, Domain Controllers, and Print Servers.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with installation & support of network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to all races and tests throughout the season.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and passion for the role.
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture including servers, cloud storage, email, and applications.
  • Able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
