About the position

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure of the company, including the Infor XA ERP system, desktop systems, data center, network, and phone systems. This role involves building, maintaining, and repairing the company's IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety and security standards. The IT Manager will also lead continuous integration efforts and collaborate with various teams and external suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies, objectives, and service level agreements for IT services within the organization.
• Interpret and translate complex IT concepts for individuals of all levels of understanding.
• Anticipate organizational technology needs and create strategic solutions.
• Supervise work provided by third-party contractors and project resources.
• Manage the IT department, including staff, resources, budget, and operational efficiency.
• Prioritize daily activities of the IT department staff to meet internal customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field.
• Budgeting experience.
• IT contracts management experience.
• At least 7+ years of experience in various IT functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with IBM (i-series; AS/400) and Infor XA.
• Windows environment experience, including VMWARE-based servers.
• Experience with MES systems and EDI support.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security and phone systems.
• Direct management experience in an IT environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with programming and system administration on IBM systems.
• Familiarity with fuel dispensing products and manufacturing processes.
