About the position

The IT MSP Level II/III Technician/Consultant/Partner is responsible for ensuring system operation and functionality to support end users in accomplishing business tasks. This role involves responding to support requests, managing IT support-related tickets, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician will work closely with the sales team to deliver pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical assessments and account management, while fostering collaboration within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, and email.
  • Provisioning and system setup for new hires.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet SLAs.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including hardware repairs and delivery of peripherals.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components across network infrastructure devices.
  • Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
  • Administer servers via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Administer and maintain network firewalls and switches.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure company safety and security standards are met.
  • Engage in network and server solution design and architecture.
  • Perform other administrative and managerial tasks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Helpdesk support and device management experience.
  • Network support experience.
  • Experience with PSA and RMM systems, such as Autotask and NinjaOne.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity SIEM and EDR/MDR/XDR solutions, such as Cytracom ControlOne, SentinelOne, and Sophos.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
  • Experience with O365 and the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of 5-10+ years.
