About the position

The IT Technician II at TeamLogic IT is responsible for ensuring the operational functionality of IT systems to support end users in their business tasks. This role involves responding to support requests, managing IT support tickets, and providing technical assistance to ensure user satisfaction. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various departments and customers while utilizing their technical skills to resolve issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, and email.
• Provision and set up systems for new hires.
• Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet SLAs.
• Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including hardware repairs and delivery of peripherals.
• Install and configure hardware and software components across network infrastructure devices.
• Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
• Administer servers via Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.

Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (3 years).
• Experience with Office 365 administration.
• Knowledge of desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Some knowledge of networking devices and appliances.
• Experience with Kaseya RMM and Autotask PSA is a plus.
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
• CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
