About the position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a dedicated IT Network Analyst to plan, implement, test, and maintain computer systems, focusing on network security measures. The role involves optimizing network configurations, monitoring traffic, and ensuring reliable performance to support the organization's evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, test, and maintain computer systems.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Design, implement, and optimize network configurations to meet the organization's evolving needs.
• Plan and execute network capacity upgrades as required.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to optimize performance and reliability.
• Follow all ESUCP procedures as appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role (ideally 3+ years).
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with security protocols and practices.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
