About the position

Are you an experienced IT professional with a knack for leadership and a passion for optimizing network systems? We're seeking a dedicated IT Manager to join our team and take charge of our information technology infrastructure. This role offers a chance to lead a talented team, manage critical network systems, and drive technological advancements within our organization. As the IT Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, which includes firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP systems, and wireless networks. You will analyze network needs, design network architecture, and manage the integration and installation of solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability. In this position, you will direct and mentor a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. You will also be tasked with ensuring that all network diagrams and documentation are accurate and up-to-date, while staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a cutting-edge IT environment. Additionally, you will develop and enforce standards, procedures, and processes for effective network management, and plan and manage the deployment and support of new technologies. Vendor negotiation will also be a key responsibility, as you will work to secure favorable terms for new services and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, VoIP systems, and wireless networks.
• Analyze network needs, design network architecture, and manage integration and installation of solutions.
• Ensure all network diagrams and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a cutting-edge IT environment.
• Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and processes for effective network management.
• Plan and manage the deployment and support of new technologies, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for new services and pricing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-level teams and projects.
• Proficiency with Aruba and Cisco network solutions, VPN, next-generation firewalls, and telecommunications administration.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure design, implementation, and security.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks is a plus.
