About the position

The IT Network Support Technician at Mindcreek is responsible for providing expert support for hardware, software, and networking issues. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT support experience and an Associate Degree or higher in a computer-related field. The technician will work in a collaborative environment, assisting clients with both remote and on-site support, while also managing network installations and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and related peripherals.
• Assist with network installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Deliver remote and on-site support to clients.
• Manage Active Directory, including user accounts and group policies.
• Monitor servers and networks to proactively address issues.
• Collaborate on additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in a computer-related field.
• Strong knowledge of systems, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Must pass a criminal background check & drug screen.
• Reside within driving distance of Baton Rouge, LA.
