As the IT Organizational Change Management (OCM) Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to own the OCM strategy for IT, advising internal IT and business teams on change management efforts and resourcing. This role is pivotal in directing the upskilling of change management capabilities across the organization, ensuring that all IT initiatives align with the overall business goals. You will lead the IT Change Management Office, responsible for developing and implementing OCM methodologies, tools, and self-service processes that empower IT leaders to effectively plan, scope, and integrate change management into their projects. In this position, you will advise and coach IT project leads and leaders on best practices, approaches, and resources for effective change management. You will evaluate the IT project portfolio to identify opportunities for aligning change initiatives with business objectives. Additionally, you will direct the IT OCM Center of Excellence and the OCM Community of Practice, driving continuous improvement and fostering interest and development among advanced OCM practitioners within the IT organization. Regular updates will be provided to senior IT management regarding change management capabilities, tracking delivery against established objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively under pressure. You will partner with the IT Project Management Office to enhance process and skill-building initiatives for IT project and program managers, ensuring that the organization is equipped to handle the complexities of change in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Change Management Office, responsible for IT OCM methodology, tools, and self-service processes for IT leaders.
  • Advise and coach IT project leads and leaders on OCM best practices, approaches, and resources.
  • Evaluate the IT project portfolio and identify opportunities to align change initiatives in support of overall business goals.
  • Direct the IT OCM Center of Excellence and OCM Community of Practice, driving continuous improvement with advanced OCM practitioners.
  • Evaluate OCM processes, training resources, vendor relationships, etc. to measure impact, performance, and usability in service to IT OCM objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior IT management on change management capabilities, tracking change management delivery against objectives.
  • Partner with the IT Project Management Office on process and skill-building initiatives with IT project and program managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Organizational Change Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in change management, preferably in IT and/or medical device industry or a similar regulated environment.
  • 10+ years of experience leading change, communications, and training efforts for technology implementations of increasing size and complexity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior consulting and/or large global company experience, including project delivery and navigating client-facing environments.
  • Change management certification (e.g., LaMarsh, Prosci, CCMP).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
