About the position

The IT Onboarding Specialist at Tobii Dynavox plays a crucial role in ensuring that new employees are effectively integrated into the company through the provision of necessary IT equipment and support. This position focuses on enhancing the onboarding experience by streamlining processes and providing ongoing technical assistance, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of empowering individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding New Users: Set up new employees with necessary IT equipment (computers, peripherals, software), ensuring smooth and seamless integration into our systems.
• Computer Installation and Configuration: Prepare, install, and configure computers and associated hardware/software for new and existing users.
• IT Support: Offer ongoing support for technical issues during the onboarding process and beyond, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• User Training: Provide basic training and guidance to new employees on IT systems, tools, and best practices to help them get started quickly.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the IT onboarding process for efficiency, user experience, and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support, user onboarding, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and hardware, with hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting computers and software.
• Ability to train and communicate effectively with end-users at varying levels of technical understanding.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to improve processes and enhance user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
