ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking a qualified candidate for our Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) IT Operations Specialist position in support of our Air Combat Command team located at Langley AFB VA. This position offers a $15k sign-on bonus and a $10k referral bonus. The IT Operations Specialist will provide Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) broadcast, hardware, and software technical expertise and guidance to Air Force ground and airborne users of Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS). The role requires a deep understanding of Air Force MAJCOM/Component/Weapon System IBS Data Requirements to effectively communicate with the Joint IBS Community. This includes managing new data requirements, revising existing or emerging message formats, and making necessary architecture modifications. The specialist will assist ACC/A5J in synchronizing current and future Joint IBS Enterprise requirements, providing broadcast, data dissemination, and Air Force Tactical Terminal (AFTT) technical assistance to platform System Program Offices (SPOs) during IBS terminal integration. Responsibilities also include developing Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) inputs to Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Concept of Employment (CONEMPs), Information Support Plans (ISPs), and Capability Development Documents (CDDs) for Air Force weapon systems. The position involves providing input to AFTT documentation, such as System Operating Manuals (SOM), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), and Memorandum of Agreements (MOA). The IT Operations Specialist will participate in technical, integrated logistics support (ILS), and program meetings, articulating Air Force MAJCOM/Component/Weapon System IBS hardware requirements, including implementing changes from existing configurations. Coordination with SPO operating commands to validate integration funding availability and schedules is essential. The role also includes advocacy and planning for funding, procurement, acceptance, testing, and fielding of technology insertion and upgrades. Analyzing quarterly status reports from the depot for operational status of hardware assets and ensuring accurate shipment and return of COMSEC Controlled Items (CCI) are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the specialist will assist in identifying and validating Air Force and Joint user Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) software application requirements, configuration management processes for IBS software, and coordinating approved changes to software baselines. The role requires identifying distribution needs and delivery of IBS software applications to Joint users, as well as program funding needs for software sustainment advocacy. Supporting service-wide IBS training capability for over 2,000+ users, developing and implementing approved training plans, and reviewing/updating training materials annually are also critical components of this position.
